The 2026 Southeast Overland Camping Event will be held at The Historic Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary in East Tennessee! We are excited, as TNToverlander, to host the 6th annual Southeast Overland Camping Event and be back at Brushy Mountain for our FOURTH consecutive year. As in previous years, your camping pass (driver and/or passenger) will include access to our Training Classes, Event Activities (Live Music, Raffle, Activities, Etc.), and access to the Vendor Area during vendor hours. Like last year, we will also host TWO SOC Event Raffles with amazing prizes, from several great off-road, overlanding, and outdoor/adventure companies. 

This is a family friendly event where our goal is for you to have access to on-site training to expand your overlanding/off-road knowledge and keep you safe on the trails, meet great people around the southeast to go on adventures throughout the year, and shop with VENDORS who provide great products to the overlanding community. Also, this is a perfect time to get your base camp set up after the winter months/holidays, and prepare for your next adventures throughout the year!

SWAG BAGS: SOC Swag Bags are full of great items and have been a HUGE HIT the past 5 years! These will be limited and we will release more information on these as it becomes available.

Each ticket purchase (Driver & Passenger) includes the following:

- Both Driver and Passenger Tickets include camping for the entire event (March 27-29, 2026), admission to the Vendor Area (strictly during vendor hours), admission to all Training Classes, and all other amenities hosted on-site at the 2026 Southeast Overland Camping Event (Live Music, RAFFLE, ETC).

**All Drivers and Passengers will be required to fill out and sign a participation waiver after tickets are purchased. A link to the waiver will be emailed to each participant prior to the start of the event (by March 26th).**

Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary Information:

- Prison Tour Hours: Self Guided Prison Tours will be sold separately on-site during the event. Tickets will be able to be acquired at a discounted rate (10% off), and purchased while at the event during TOUR HOURS.

- Gift Shop to purchase all Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary SWAG will be open!

Restaurants on-site: 

- Wardens Table Restaurant: The Wardens Table Restaurant/Distillery will have a BBQ menu provided for individuals to choose from, as well as the distillery being open for tastings/purchasing. 

- Parolee’s Pizza Restaurant: Parolee’s Pizza has a great food selection including pizza, wings, and sandwiches. It is just a short walk from the camping area and definitely worth the trip. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this new food option! 

Brushy Mountain RV Park: 

- If you have a Larger Camping Setup (Class A, B, or C RV) and/or have a larger camper and still want to attend the event, we are excited to announce the new RV Park that Brushy Mountain has opened. This will allow you to have full hookups and still attend ALL EVENT ACTIVITIES. To Sign up for this: 

- Visit Brushy Mountain’s Website and reserve your spot through them. 

- Contact TNToverlander via email (info@tntoverlander.com) to provide your RV Reservation confirmation number.

- Purchase an event wristband/pass that gets you access to all of the Event Activities and Entrance to the event each day for an additional price ($60 for Driver and $20 for passengers) through TNToverlander.

Check In Date/Time: 

-All registered campers can start to check-in on Friday (March 27, 2025) at 8:00am. 

**Please locate the check-in tent directly across from the main Historic Brushy Mountain Prison Entrance. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP PRIOR TO 7AM** 

Quiet Hours:

Quiet Hours are between 10:00pm – 8:00am so all attendees can relax, rest, and enjoy their stay within the camping area. Please help us make this enjoyable for all attendees by following this guideline. 

Camping Sites Available:

- Vehicle sites (Camper Vans, Trailers [Extra $20 Fee], Rooftop Tents, and similar).

- Ground tent sites (beside your off-road/overlanding vehicle).

- Average provided campsite size 20’x 20’.

**All sites are primitive, we do not have any powered sites inside the camping area! If you plan to bring a generator…please use them ONLY between the hours of 8:00am – 10:00pm (EXCEPTIONS will be made for those needing medical devices at night....try to plan on using a battery powered generator if possible due to noise).

- Premium Camping Sites: Premium Camping Sites (if purchased for an additional $60) will give individuals the opportunity to camp on the first front rows in the camping area. With this, Premium Camping Ticket holders will have the ability to show up 1 day early to set up camp, but regardless, your front row spot will be saved just for you! **If you have a trailer, you will need to also purchase the $20 Trailer Fee if you select Premium Camping. This allows us to plan the correct spacing for all campers.

TRAILER CAMPING (primitive, no power/water hookups):

- You will need to register as bringing a “Trailer” if you plan to camp in a trailer on site. Trailers take up extra space due to your vehicle, trailer, and basic camping setup around each. You will be able to either stay connected, or disconnect and park beside your trailer (whichever is best for you). If you show up with a trailer and did not purchase a trailer pass prior, you will have to pay for one at the gate before being allowed to park.

- Trailer Camping Extra Fee: $20

- MAX TRAILER SIZE: 20’

There will be two (2) event raffles with one held on Friday Night and one on Saturday Night. With that, The “Big Ticket” raffle will be held on Saturday Evening ONLY with the “Standard Raffle” items being both evenings.

- Big Ticket Item: $3 

**Raffle Tickets will be sold at the event, by event staff, Friday-Saturday.
