Ten-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson is “one of the greatest country singers of our time,” according to the Washington Post.  He released his most recent solo album, Midnight Gasoline, in November and it quickly made Billboard’s list of its Top 5 Country Albums of the Year. 

The Grand Ole Opry member is also widely regarded as one of the greatest country songwriters of his generation. Indeed, he is the only living person to twice win the Song of the Year Award from both the CMA and ACM in the same year–for “Give It Away” and “In Color.”

His 2008 album, That Lonesome Song, was certified platinum for 1 million in sales, and his 2010 double album, The Guitar Song, received a gold certification and hit No. 1 on the country albums chart.. He has received tremendous praise from The New York Times, Rolling Stone,The Wall Street Journal and other publications, many of which have hailed his albums as masterpieces.

 A consummate storyteller, his songs have been recorded by George Strait, Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson, James Otto, Joe Nichols and others. He is “a first-rate preservationist of classic country songwriting…,” says The New York Times.

His recent network television performances include the Country Music Association Awards on ABC, as well as NBC’s Opry 100: A Live Celebration,  NBC’s Toby Keith:American Icon and CBS’ Willie Nelson’s 90th Birthday Celebration.
